I moved from Southern California to Kansas in 2001. I have been an Ottawa resident and homeowner ever since. I have been a resident of Douglas County all of my life. My wife, Carolyn and I have farmed and raised our two children in the Worden area. We’ve raised hogs, cattle and crops. We are very familiar with the many facets of farming, the farming community & rural auctions. But it was always auctioneering that held my primary interest even as a boy growing up on the farm. I practiced my auction chant selling the tractor, equipment, fence posts, whatever was around me while driving the tractor in the fields.
